Heading - Pearls of advertising

advertising - so maybe a little shorter train of thought - is either product, so a service to consumers, or expression of an effort to persuade consumers to buy a product that he had not bought at that price, if it were not for advertising - that information or manipulation. Today I have three forms advertising meets that look very tempting but: there
This great show is now in the Hallenstadion. A press text:
Ben Hur survives the galleys only by his desire for revenge and love with the beautiful Esther. In the legendary chariot race, he defeated his rival and former friend the Roman Messala. The encounter with Jesus finally convinced Ben Hur by the Christian message of peace, and he turns away from his violent revenge plans.
The show will display the revenge Ben Hur excessively, only to announce at the end the love message of Jesus (at least in the states, the billboard). If this message arrived, there It probably few people who would get off on the presentation of gladiatorial combat. But good: The message declaration was 2000 years ago, maybe a good thing that someone is doing it again.
Aldi and Lidl to force producers and even their employees time and again, apart from their monotonous work miserable conditions, yet do so, as they found the operation a life enrichment and were quite happy to work there. The consumer is suggested at the same time, it was some kind of achievement that there are now 100 branches of Aldi in Switzerland. On one of these posters has managed a staff member to deny the omnipotence of their employer: Sent the lady ducks behind the nice waving Lord.
» The riddle does not exist ...," wrote Wittgenstein. And obviously he was wrong: there is it anyway. Well, we see a sympathetic master, not without skill in the kitchen, he uses vinegar for salad dressing, cooking Rahmschnitzel with Swiss cream, and even used some vegetables, though mayonnaise, but still, he cooks, and try as he barely perceptible looks into the camera. He is a mistake: he has confused sugar and salt. The information from the title. And now the question of what conclusion we should draw an attentive viewer of this poster?

Ethnic Groups With Albinism

taxi driver - or the great metaphor of our time

Während schon nur der Name suggeriert, es handle is something pig are to such a nasty disease that can only come from pigs or make the pig - that's nothing compared to the Jewish and Muslim victims of the disease, avoid if the pig contact and then won this disease have received. So more »Mexican flu," which may now not represent the Mexicans. (This would have the flu hot Citroën flu .) Other than that: It is a perfectly ordinary flu. Please stay relaxed.
The central metaphor of our time is the driving taxis. Not necessarily to get on a taxi, which I, since I have no car, and occasionally do (subjective logic: So much, I've spent on buses, I may invest in taxi fares), while aware of the horrible conditions in the taxi Zurich learned: Local and landesspracheunkundige drivers who are not not friendly, but decidedly unfriendly, while driving, the notabene 85 on twisty roads out to play on your iPhone and drive a vehicle that looks as if it had been stolen from a Polish car thief in Macedonia, where it has been inhabited for three years of chickens. But just: Ums ride as it's not, it's about driving yourself.
This has been a writer and an author that is done, and these experiences in their partially autobiographical Directories processed.
stands for both the period of life driving a cab for a period of disorientation: it is indeed - lousy - paid seems to know about in the city of Vienna (Glavinic) and Hamburg (Duve), but it runs exactly to where the most part degenerate passengers want to go. And wait for the protagonists, that at some point something happens and it happens then too, and then they do not take more taxis: but that they lead from A to B or B, their goal is or ever has a goal, in what she later to do because you can not be sure. Glavinic on how to live (the better of the two novels) any subsequent novel, The I am, can imagine that even a Schriftellerexistenz not one can free from the problems which have led to a taxi driver existence. And then it closes the thesis that we, this generation ( crisis children), all are somehow a taxi driver.
and taxi drivers as an exemplary example of another problem very nicely: The problem of capitalism and its initial position. The fact that people no homo oeconimicus (Pl, of course, I can both homo economicus and decline in Latin, but I find that somewhat pretentious, that's also a model, so there must be only one, not several) are is sufficiently known, but that does not include the free market means that we can offer a product at the price you'd like, and then maybe find a customer who is willing to pay that price - and do so simply because the market is not a market is, where lemons are offered for sale, but part of a complex economic system.
On one side there were probably customers who would pay at certain times for a certain taxi service much more than cost the taxis - on the other hand, earn taxi driver apparently crying miserably, and for yet more government regulation of the taxi operation (the provision of fewer licenses). In principle, would be assumed that the market regulates itself and bring more expensive taxis maybe more power, less effective - it costs but actually a taxi ride, regardless of vendor, the same amount. A trend that is evident in many areas of our economic system: cell phone rates, prices of medicines and many other products work under other laws, as one would expect.

Letter With Community Involvement Point

offender - victim: revisited (My favorite argument)

found in the magazine today an article that is a question about writing: Will he do it again? The excellent article by Mathias Ninck deals with a custody rapist who in the opinion of all experts for 20 years after his last fact no danger his fellow man is - and yet still remains preserved, even though there is no basis. The basis of protests that does not constitute punishment, the potential danger, which starts from a man who "-not" is treatable.
is now the readers of this page to be known that I am following frightening find:
  • the discourse on legal topics in Switzerland of lay out
  • principles of law and fair, just, legal action will be ignored by these lay
  • solidarity with so-called offenders will be announced, penalties can not be tough enough
Mit grosser Regelmässigkeit (so auch in den Kommentaren zu diesem Artikel) wird jedoch ein vermeintliches Totschlagargument verwendet: Wer auf Fairness gegenüber Tätern besteht, dem wird unterstellt, er würde seine Meinung sofort ändern, wenn er entweder a victim of a violent crime would be or when it would be people close to victims of violence. This argument is neither sent nor insidious: It's stupid. In general people judge situations by presenting himself to be involved. The problem is that we can easily imagine to be a victim of a violent crime than the perpetrators to be an act of violence - which is not to say that we could not imagine what it's like to be imprisoned 20 years and continue to be detained without reason, to then realize that if we wanted a safe society, we would simply lock up everyone ... This is another reason why the argument is completely unfounded is, the nature of our legal system, if it would order that is always the measure which victims and friends of victims as the displayed window, then we would need it no more: because it would revenge the more economical and efficient principle.
It is from these considerations, not hair-splitting: a society that imprisons 200 people preventively without them would have been convicted of anything, and finds this not to worry: She more pressing problems than the swine flu .

Where Can I Find A Dirt Bike Birthday Theme

Wanted

This congenial host can announce on his website, two guests were in he drank a pint of wine and then the bill only partially paid, while he was waiting for the Canton police. Kindly other guests had taken pictures of these two alleged Zechprellern, which he released on his website. This is the starting position.
Next, reports the tabloid press in Switzerland gathered on this case, for example Sun . That the effect of the "Internet pillory" is just the result of this second step, ie that people, in which there is no public interest is subordinate to a national medium of a crime should, in the house Ringier strike anyone as media ethics since as a relic of the 20.
I want to bore anyone). Conclusion: data protection, fundamental legal considerations - all that one can not care as long as no one thinks they were selling over-priced wine.
And how problematic the whole thing is real, perhaps even quite abstract, I shall therefore publish a picture of two people on the Internet and in mass media and provide them with an offense in the picture is not visible - and those that my identity disclose this group could provide a reward in prospect.

Valentine's Day With Heart Shaped Pasta

resistant watch!

A week in Berlin - and where to go, people with name tags that are constantly monitored in every possible language in the world " stands. Now Vigilance is a virtue, claiming that some of my friends for himself: and yet I was initially unclear why all these people should wake up constantly and this even with name tags.
When my iPhone could be in Berlin to receive data (orange I was initially prevented from being able to produce abroad compounds), Google gave me insight: The Jehovah's Witnesses have or had rented the biggest stadiums in Germany to attend a Congress to do, what do Jehovah's Witnesses.
And when Google was at it, I explain the world, I could also read the same, what to do for so, these witnesses, and why the need to constantly monitor (especially I obviously yes to 13% believe the same as Jehovah's Witnesses). While one might expect considering the missonarischen activities of these people that it was a classic cult, the people seem on the other face to be of general prejudice, which make their lives harder than necessary, at least in Germany, where it seems quite a few of them There.
Jehovah's Witnesses - more than can be said objectively - have the same problem as a lot of religious groups: you can not read the Bible as a historical and a literary work, but derived from cryptic passages bids or reality descriptions from , which is absolute validity claim. Problems are in particular three of them:
  • that blood transfusions violate a commandment of God (. Namely the here, Gen. 9, 4)
  • that mission an order for devout Christians
  • had that was close to the Armageddon, the apocalypse ( or the Last Judgement) and then just 144,000 people be saved (which is problematic because the Jehovah's Witnesses this doomsday prophecy many times have what is for PR reasons, always fraught with difficulties). To this theory is interesting that the elect of God, and have to later take over government functions or dürfen, offenbar national verteilt sind, denn in Kanada, so der Schluss dieses FAZ-Artikels , gebe es noch recht viel Platz.

Drinking 7 Hours After Xanax

strategies

Die Frage, ob das Fahrrad allenfalls gar nie im Keller gestanden and as I was still tied at the station, in front of the house had been stolen or possibly just somewhere or had been left, but was already raised, but must be categorically denied. Not because I Fahrradlosigkeit me after half a year's would be completely safe, but because I do not want to give the impression to make me feel insecure in such matters. There. War. Im Keller. And. Is. Now. Stolen. Worden. Now I buy a bike on which I can build a relationship of mutual trust and respect, then I will always know where it is (and it knows where I am).
That is one strategy. The other strategy is the question, what should I do if I see someone the manager or my bicycle. People I know are already on 1 May at Helvetiaplatz her bicycle recognized its driver have made speeches and then by the developing turmoil not to have been able to deploy the right rhetorical means, to get back into the possession of their property (by the way I have here two technical terms included). In Glavinic's novel The but I'm (about which I'll write another post of its own), is emerging a woman who says about a mobile phone:
sorry you where you bought your mobile phone that is there? I really do not suspect, but I was stolen last week, one that and that was just one.
Well, it's not natural. Assuming I know my bike, while talks almost everything, I would probably be talking acts. Take it and maybe mutter casually: "I alternate the times back then in my basement"
Where it connects then the question that haunts me too. What would happen if I was with two colleagues on the way home and two teenagers with us head nuts want to move to give them our money. Could I, as I imagine that, for fighting back, give them some mind-bending puzzles and verbal rebuke so that they will now venture on Saturday scarcely bets , want to see - or would I soon defenseless on the ground, fearing, the investment of my parents in my teeth straightened probably not counted?
